Hi, I am Trish.
I am a Kent-based photographer, secondary school teacher and parent of two, with a love for capturing genuine moments and beautiful photos.
I am a photographer with a relaxed, natural approach, capturing both genuine moments as they unfold and beautifully timeless portraits. I am drawn to real emotion, joyful connection, and the small, in-between moments that tell the true story of a person, a family, or a special occasion.
Alongside photography, I work full time as a secondary school teacher, specialising in dance, drama and music. Working with young people every day has given me a calm, patient and intuitive approach, helping people of all ages feel comfortable, confident and at ease in front of the camera.
I photograph in a gentle, unobtrusive way, allowing natural moments to happen while also offering relaxed guidance when needed. Whether it is a child lost in play, a shared laugh between siblings, a couple celebrating their wedding, or the energy of a live event, my aim is to create photographs that feel authentic, natural and full of life.
Photography, like teaching and the arts, is about connection. It is about noticing movement, emotion and interaction, while knowing when to step in with gentle direction to create timeless portraits you'll treasure for years to come. My goal is always to create images that reflect people at their very best while staying true to who they are.
My background in performance and movement strongly influences how I see and capture moments, helping me anticipate emotion, expression and genuine connection before they happen.
Outside of photography, I love spending time with my family. I am a parent to two children myself, so I understand just how quickly life changes and how important it is to preserve the moments that matter.
I grew up in Kent and have always been drawn to creative, people-focused work. Before teaching, I even spent time as a Redcoat at Butlin's, an experience that taught me confidence, warmth and how to help people feel relaxed and comfortable, something I still bring to every photography session today.
When I am not behind the camera, you will usually find me with my family, enjoying the performing arts or planning my next creative project.
For full day weddings, you will have the benefit of two photographers working together.
Alongside me is my dad, an experienced photographer with over 40 years behind the camera and extensive wedding photography experience. Together, we combine experience, creativity and different perspectives to capture every part of your day naturally and beautifully.
